Embroidered Key Fobs

Kuda Cakes makes the most beautiful and yummy cake pops.
I was thrilled to make her a pretty key fob!

These key fobs make a creative name tag for backpacks.

Wendy said, "I bet these would make good luggage tags.
Something bright and unique so that you can spot your
luggage on the carousel." Isn't that a fantastic idea?

The cotton webbing is 10" before folding and 1.25" wide.

Key Fobs in these colors, fabrics and fonts
are available for purchase for $10 plus shipping (and WA tax).
Just send me a message on my Facebook page or contact me through etsy.

A Banner for a Dog Lover

If you've seen my other blog posts with banners,
you know I like the abstract photo.

This collection of fabric worked wonderfully well together.

The little sewing details withstand an extreme zoom.

The banner is reversible:
one side has dogs and one side has an embroidered name.

The cheeky little puppy stole my heart!

Banners are easy to order.
I just need to know the theme and color palette
that would most please the recipient.
Pennants are roughly 5"x 5" and are placed 2" apart.

Your completely custom six to nine pennant banner runs $35-$45.

The availability of the dog fabric is not guaranteed.

New Quilted Tote Bags

This turquoise and chocolate tote with embroidered butterfly
is pieced, quilted and structured with a sturdy interfacing.
The butterfly is embroidered on chocolate brown ultrasuede.

The tote has a magnetic closure and ultrasuede binding.
The handles are about 36" long.
I love how it sits perfectly on my shoulder.
How will I part with this bag???

The padded pocket is about 8" x 12".
The entire bag is approximately 12" x 16" x 4".
There is also a strap sewn into the lining with a D-ring
that the matching wallet will clip to.

Not bad for my first try quilting and first try making a tote!

Journal Cover

This journal cover is the right size for a compostition book.
This technique (similar to quilting) can be used for tote bags, as well.

You might remember the fabric.

With the skies so grey, the rich purple isn't showing through on my monitor.
I'll take more pictures the next sunny day.

Fabric Samples, continued

Black and White.  Small quantities of each.
The two on the far left are gone.
The one on the far right is diminished.
I have an extra black and white that will appear in a new photo shoot.

Black and Burgundy.

Orange, Brown, and Funky Stripes.  Small quantities of each.

Blue and a variety of Floral.  Small quanities of each.

Soft Green with supporting Florals.  Small quantities of each.

Coordinating Lavenders with Black.  Small quantities of all but Black.

Brown and Turquoise.

Black, Deep Purple, and Floral.

All are technically limited in their quantities.
If I make mention of the fact, then the possibility of finding the out of stock fabric is low.
As they are used up, I will either take down the photo, or make a note.
